Jennifer Gessler: My name is Jennifer and I’m a self-taught amateur artist in painting and drawing living in Stockholm Sweden. I work as a sole proprietor in the area of project and office administration, but my free time I spend either dancing or painting. Art is something that I have always loved and spend a lot of my free time with. It is a part of who I am and I cannot imagine it not being part of my life. I find my inspiration from all types of places and things; nature, people, a music piece, a poem… Even a tiny thing like a leaf or a rock can make me want to pick up my sketch book. There is just something fascinating of watching an empty piece of paper or an empty canvas being filled, creating its very own landscape, a face or a cascade of colour. Watching it come to life beneath the fingers is simply incredible and the part of the process I think I love the most.
